Acetaminophen / Codeine / Pseudoephedrine
This combination medication contains three active ingredients that work together to relieve pain, reduce fever, and alleviate nasal congestion. It is typically prescribed for short-term treatment of symptoms associated with upper respiratory conditions such as sinus congestion, allergies, or colds that cause both discomfort and nasal blockage. The combination makes it useful when over-the-counter options may not provide sufficient relief.

Temporary relief of nasal congestion, sinus pressure, headache, minor aches and pains, and fever associated with the common cold, allergies, or sinusitis. Often prescribed when symptoms include both pain and significant nasal congestion that requires a multi-symptom approach.
Acetaminophen works as an analgesic and antipyretic to reduce pain and fever. Codeine, an opioid analgesic, provides additional pain relief and may help suppress coughing. Pseudoephedrine acts as a sympathomimetic decongestant by constricting blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion.
Contains an opioid component (codeine) with potential for dependence, sedation, and respiratory effects. May cause drowsiness; alcohol and other CNS depressants should be avoided. Acetaminophen carries a risk of liver damage if exceeding recommended doses. Pseudoephedrine may increase blood pressure and heart rate. Available by prescription only due to the opioid content. Not recommended for children or adolescents recovering from surgery due to codeine-related respiratory risks.
