Temporarily relieves symptoms associated with the common cold, flu, or upper respiratory allergies including headache, minor aches and pains, fever, sore throat, cough due to minor throat irritation, and runny nose or sneezing.
Acetaminophen inhibits pain and fever signals in the central nervous system. Dextromethorphan acts on the cough center in the brain to suppress the cough reflex. Diphenhydramine, a first-generation antihistamine, blocks histamine receptors to reduce rhinorrhea and sneezing, and also provides mild sedative effects.
Do not exceed recommended dosage as acetaminophen can cause liver damage. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication. Due to diphenhydramine content, use caution when operating machinery or driving. Not recommended for use in children under 6 years without medical advice. Consult a healthcare provider if symptoms persist beyond 7 days or worsen.
