Treatment of otitis externa (swimmer's ear) and other inflammatory conditions of the external ear canal, particularly when bacterial or fungal infection is present or suspected.
Acetic acid works by acidifying the ear canal environment, creating conditions unfavorable for bacterial and fungal growth. Desonide is a low-potency topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, swelling, and itching in the affected ear tissue.
For otic use only; avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if the eardrum is perforated. Some stinging or burning upon application is normal. Complete the full course as prescribed even if symptoms improve. Shake well before use. Inform your doctor of any allergies before use.
