Used to treat dry, rough, or flaky skin conditions including xerosis, ichthyosis, eczema, and psoriasis. Also employed for improving skin texture, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, addressing hyperpigmentation, and treating mild acne. May be used for keratolytic therapy and general skin conditioning.
Alpha Hydroxy Acids work by loosening the bonds between dead skin cells on the skin's surface, promoting exfoliation and revealing fresher underlying skin. Urea acts as a humectant that draws moisture into the skin while also softening keratin. Together they provide both exfoliation and deep moisturization, improving overall skin texture and appearance.
For topical use only on intact skin. May cause skin irritation, redness, or peeling especially when starting treatment. Sun sensitivity may increase during use; sunscreen is recommended. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Start with lower concentrations and gradually increase frequency as tolerated. Not recommended during pregnancy without consulting a healthcare provider.
