Amivantamab
Amivantamab is a bispecific antibody therapy that targets both EGFR and MET receptors, which are involved in cancer cell growth and survival. It is used to treat adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has specific EGFR mutations, such as exon 19 deletions or exon 21 L858R substitution mutations.
Amivantamab is a bispecific antibody treatment for EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer that works by simultaneously targeting EGFR and MET signaling pathways.

Method of drug delivery
Amivantamab is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 L858R substitution mutations, following progression on or after platinum-based chemotherapy.
Amivantamab is a bispecific antibody that binds to the extracellular domains of both EGFR and MET receptors. By simultaneously targeting these two receptors, it disrupts EGFR and MET signaling pathways, inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and survival in cancers with these specific mutations.
Common side effects include infusion-related reactions (particularly with first infusion), skin toxicity, paronychia, and hypokalemia. Patients should be monitored for infusion reactions during and after administration. Dose interruptions or reductions may be needed for certain adverse reactions.
