Treatment of adults with locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations, following progression on or after platinum-based chemotherapy. Testing for EGFR exon 20 mutations is required before initiating therapy.

Amivantamab is a bispecific antibody that simultaneously targets both EGFR and MET receptors on cancer cells, blocking their signaling pathways that drive tumor growth. The hyaluronidase component temporarily breaks down subcutaneous tissue, allowing for subcutaneous injection of the large antibody molecule.

Administered as a subcutaneous injection. Common side effects include infusion-related reactions, skin toxicity, paronychia, and musculoskeletal pain. Requires monitoring for interstitial lung disease and embryo-fetal toxicity. Must be administered by a healthcare professional.
