Treatment of bacterial respiratory infections accompanied by excessive mucus production, such as acute or chronic bronchitis, and other lower respiratory tract infections where both antimicrobial therapy and mucus clearance are needed.
Amoxicillin works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, killing susceptible bacteria. Brovanexine acts as a mucolytic and expectorant by breaking down mucopolysaccharide fibers in mucus, making it thinner and easier to expel.
Standard penicillin allergy precautions apply. May cause gastrointestinal side effects such as diarrhea. Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve. Brovanexine may increase bronchial secretion in the initial treatment phase. Use only as prescribed by a healthcare provider.
