Treatment of acute otitis externa (swimmer's ear), chronic otitis externa, and other infections of the external ear canal caused by susceptible bacteria. May also be used for inflammatory ear conditions requiring anti-infective therapy.

Neomycin and polymyxin B work together to kill a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria by disrupting bacterial cell membranes. Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation, swelling, and itching in the ear canal, while antipyrine provides local analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects to relieve pain.

For otic use only (ears). Avoid contact with eyes. Should not be used if the eardrum is perforated. Neomycin may cause hearing loss or kidney damage with prolonged use. Discontinue if sensitization or allergic reaction occurs. Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed.
