Treatment of Ebola virus disease (Zaire ebolavirus) in adult and pediatric patients, including newborns of mothers with confirmed Ebola infection.
Three distinct monoclonal antibodies (atoltivimab, maftivimab, and odesivimab) bind to different non-overlapping epitopes on the Ebola virus glycoprotein, neutralizing viral particles and enabling immune-mediated clearance of the infection.
Administered as a single intravenous infusion. May cause infusion-related reactions. Safety and effectiveness established in clinical trials showing improved survival outcomes compared to standard care. Available under FDA approval for emergency use.
