Treatment of late-onset Pompe disease (LOPD) in patients aged 1 year and older. It helps manage the symptoms and slows disease progression in this rare genetic disorder affecting muscle function.

Replaces the deficient acid alpha-glucosidase enzyme through intravenous infusion. The recombinant enzyme is taken up by cells and transported to lysosomes where it breaks down accumulated glycogen.

Administered via intravenous infusion every 2 weeks at recommended dose of 20 mg/kg. May cause infusion-associated reactions including hypersensitivity. Requires cardiac monitoring in some patients. Must be administered in appropriate clinical setting.
