Baza is used to treat superficial fungal infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes and yeasts, including tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), and cutaneous candidiasis.

Baza contains clotrimazole, an azole antifungal agent that works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a critical component of the fungal cell membrane. This disruption weakens the cell membrane and prevents the fungus from growing and multiplying.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area and surrounding skin 2-3 times daily. Continue use for at least 2 weeks after symptoms resolve to prevent recurrence. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, and mouth. If irritation or allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider. Inform your doctor if symptoms do not improve after 4 weeks of treatment.
