Bendroflumethiazide / Timolol
Bendroflumethiazide/Timolol is a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It combines a thiazide diuretic with a beta-blocker to lower blood pressure through complementary mechanisms - the diuretic reduces fluid volume while the beta-blocker decreases heart rate and cardiac output. This combination may provide better blood pressure control than either component alone.
A combination antihypertensive medication pairing a diuretic with a beta-blocker for enhanced blood pressure control.

Primarily used for management of hypertension (high blood pressure). May be prescribed when single-agent therapy is insufficient to control blood pressure adequately.
Bendroflumethiazide is a thiazide diuretic that promotes excretion of sodium and water, reducing plasma volume. Timolol is a non-selective beta-blocker that reduces heart rate, myocardial contractility, and renin release. Together, they provide complementary blood pressure lowering effects.
May cause electrolyte imbalances (especially low potassium), dizziness, or fatigue. Beta-blocker component may mask hypoglycemic symptoms in diabetic patients. Should not be stopped abruptly. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, electrolytes, and kidney function is recommended during treatment.
