Temporary relief of minor ear pain, itching, and discomfort associated with swimmer's ear (otitis externa), ear canal irritation, or minor skin irritations of the outer ear. May also be used for relief of itching or discomfort from ear piercings or minor cuts near the ear area.
Benzocaine provides local anesthetic action by blocking nerve signals in the treated area. Isopropyl alcohol acts as an antiseptic to help cleanse the area and may aid in drying excess moisture. Menthol creates a cooling sensation that can help distract from itching and discomfort.
For external ear use only—do not insert into the ear canal or use if the eardrum is perforated. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use on large areas of skin, deep wounds, or for prolonged periods. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider if symptoms worsen, no improvement occurs within 7 days, or allergic reaction occurs.
