Treatment of inflammatory ocular conditions (such as conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis), otic conditions (such as otitis externa), and dermatological conditions where bacterial infection is present or suspected. Commonly used after eye/ear surgeries to prevent infection and reduce inflammation.

Betamethasone is a potent corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by suppressing immune responses and inhibiting inflammatory mediators. Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that kills susceptible bacteria by inhibiting protein synthesis. Together they address both the inflammatory and infectious components of the condition.

For topical ophthalmic and otic use only. Should not be used for viral or fungal infections. Prolonged use may lead to increased intraocular pressure (causing glaucoma), cataracts, skin atrophy, or delayed wound healing. Not recommended during active untreated bacterial infection without inflammation. Use with caution in patients with impaired hearing or renal function. Treatment duration should be limited as directed by a physician.
