Breyanzi is approved for adults with relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma after two or more lines of systemic therapy, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma, high-grade B-cell lymphoma, and DLBCL arising from follicular lymphoma.

Breyanzi is a CD19-directed genetically modified autologous T-cell immunotherapy. The patient's T cells are collected and modified with a receptor (CAR) that targets the CD19 antigen found on the surface of B cells, enabling the engineered cells to identify and destroy cancer cells.

Breyanzi carries a risk of serious side effects including cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurological toxicities. It should only be administered at certified healthcare facilities with appropriate monitoring and management capabilities. Patients require close monitoring following infusion, typically for several days to assess for potential adverse reactions.
