Treatment and prevention of infection in minor wounds, cuts, abrasions, scratches, and superficial skin infections. May also be used for post-operative wound care and in veterinary applications for skin conditions.
This cationic dye penetrates microbial cell membranes and interferes with essential cellular processes, including protein synthesis and enzyme function, resulting in antimicrobial activity against gram-positive bacteria, some gram-negative organisms, and certain fungi.
For external use only. Avoid contact with mucous membranes, eyes, and ingestion. May cause temporary skin staining and irritation. Not recommended for use on large wound areas or for prolonged treatment. Should be used with caution in pregnant women, children, and individuals with sensitive skin. Consult a healthcare provider if infection worsens or does not improve within 7 days.
