Temporarily relieves symptoms associated with the common cold, seasonal allergies, hay fever, sinusitis, and other upper respiratory conditions including nasal/sinus congestion, postnasal drip, chest congestion, coughing, sneezing, and itchy/watery eyes.
Brompheniramine blocks histamine receptors to reduce allergic symptoms; dextromethorphan suppresses the cough reflex in the brain; guaifenesin thins and loosens mucus in the airways to make coughs more productive; pseudoephedrine constricts blood vessels in the nasal passages to reduce swelling and congestion.
May cause drowsiness; avoid operating machinery or driving until you know how it affects you. Pseudoephedrine availability may be restricted in some regions due to its use in methamphetamine production. Consult a healthcare provider before use if you have hypertension, heart disease, thyroid disorders, diabetes, glaucoma, or prostate problems. Do not use with MAO inhibitors.
