Treatment and prevention of calcium deficiency and osteomalacia; management and prevention of osteoporosis; supplementation for individuals with inadequate dietary calcium or vitamin D intake, particularly elderly patients, postmenopausal women, and those with malabsorption disorders.

Calcium carbonate provides elemental calcium, an essential mineral for bone structure, muscle function, and nerve transmission. Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) is converted to its active form in the body to enhance intestinal absorption of calcium and maintain normal serum calcium and phosphate levels, supporting bone mineralization.

Take with food for optimal absorption; separate doses of this supplement from other medications by at least 2 hours (particularly tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, and bisphosphonates). Monitor for signs of hypercalcemia (nausea, confusion, weakness) with prolonged high-dose use. Patients with kidney disease, hypercalcemia, or certain granulomatous diseases should use with caution under medical supervision.
