Coagulation Factor Viia (Recombinant)-Jncw
Coagulation Factor VIIa (Recombinant)-Jncw is a biosimilar version of recombinant activated Factor VII, a protein that plays a crucial role in the blood coagulation cascade. This medication is primarily used in patients with hemophilia who have developed inhibitors to Factor VIII or IX, as well as in certain bleeding disorders where normal clotting factors are deficient or dysfunctional. It works by directly activating Factor X to initiate the formation of fibrin clots, bypassing parts of the coagulation pathway that may be impaired.
A recombinant clotting factor used to treat or prevent bleeding in hemophilia patients with inhibitors and those with related bleeding disorders.

Treatment and prevention of bleeding episodes in hemophilia A or B patients with inhibitors, acquired hemophilia, congenital Factor VII deficiency, and Glanzmann thrombasthenia with refractoriness to platelet transfusions.
Recombinant Factor VIIa binds to tissue factor exposed at sites of vascular injury, activating Factor X to Factor Xa, which then converts prothrombin to thrombin. This leads to fibrin clot formation independent of the intrinsic pathway, making it effective when Factor VIII or IX inhibitors are present.
Administered via intravenous injection. Thromboembolic events are a known risk, particularly in patients with underlying cardiovascular disease or concurrent use of activated prothrombin complex concentrates. Monitoring of blood parameters and clinical response is recommended. Treatment should be supervised by a hematologist experienced in hemophilia management.
