Columvi is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), not otherwise specified, or large B-cell lymphoma (LBL) arising from follicular lymphoma, who have received two or more prior lines of systemic therapy.
Columvi is a bispecific antibody that binds to both CD20 (a protein on the surface of B-cells, including cancer cells) and CD3 (a protein on T-cells). This brings the T-cells into close proximity with the cancer cells, enabling the immune system to recognize and destroy the malignant B-cells.
Columvi is administered as an intravenous infusion. Due to the risk of cytokine release syndrome (CRS), patients typically receive step-up dosing with pretreatment before the first full dose. Other serious risks include serious infections, tumor flare, and neutropenia. Complete response assessment should be performed after the 8th cycle. Healthcare providers should review the full prescribing information for complete dosing instructions and safety monitoring requirements.
