Cydectin is indicated for the treatment and control of internal parasites (gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms) and external parasites (mites, lice) in cattle, sheep, and other livestock animals.

Cydectin contains moxidectin, which binds to glutamate-gated chloride channels in parasites, causing increased chloride ion flow into nerve cells, resulting in paralysis and death of susceptible parasites.

For veterinary use only. May cause adverse reactions in some animal species, particularly in dogs (especially Collies). Meat and milk withdrawal times apply for food-producing animals. Consult a veterinarian for proper dosing and administration.
