Cystorelin is used in cattle and other livestock for the treatment of ovarian cysts (particularly luteal cysts), induction of ovulation in estrus synchronization programs, and improvement of fertility in reproductive management protocols.

As a GnRH analogue, Cystorelin stimulates the pituitary gland to release luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which in turn stimulate ovarian activity and promote ovulation in female cattle.

This medication is for veterinary use only. Administration should be performed by or under the direction of a licensed veterinarian. Proper diagnosis of the specific reproductive condition is essential before treatment. Withdrawal times for meat and milk should be observed as directed. Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to GnRH or its analogues.
