Dacomitinib Anhydrous
Dacomitinib Anhydrous is a second-generation, irreversible pan-epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor used to treat certain types of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It works by permanently binding to EGFR receptors on cancer cells, blocking signals that promote tumor growth and survival. This medication is specifically indicated for patients with NSCLC harboring EGFR mutations.
Dacomitinib is an EGFR inhibitor used to treat EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer by blocking cancer cell growth signals.

Treatment of metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in patients with EGFR mutations (exon 19 deletion or L858R substitution mutations)
As an irreversible EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor, dacomitinib covalently binds to and inhibits EGFR receptor signaling, preventing downstream pathways that drive cancer cell proliferation, survival, and metastasis
Common adverse effects include diarrhea, skin rash, nail disorders, and stomatitis. Interstitial lung disease and hepatotoxicity are serious but less common risks. Requires confirmed EGFR mutation status prior to treatment initiation. May interact with CYP3A4 inducers/inhibitors.
