Treatment of high-risk neuroblastoma in patients 1 year of age and older who have shown partial response, minor response, or stable disease following prior therapy. Used in combination with GM-CSF.

Danyelza is a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to GD2, a ganglioside antigen expressed on the surface of neuroblastoma cells. This binding helps the immune system recognize and destroy the cancer cells through antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity.

Requires pre-medication for pain management and infusion reactions. Can cause serious side effects including severe pain, infusion-related reactions, peripheral neuropathy, and hyponatremia. Patients should be monitored closely during and after infusion. Treatment should be administered by healthcare professionals experienced in cancer immunotherapy.
