Dasatinib
Dasatinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used primarily to treat chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL). It works by inhibiting multiple kinases including BCR-ABL, SRC family kinases, c-KIT, and PDGFRβ, which are involved in cancer cell growth and survival.
A targeted therapy for certain leukemias that inhibits multiple cancer-promoting kinases.

Treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in chronic phase and accelerated phase, as well as Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL) in patients with resistance or intolerance to prior therapy.
Dasatinib inhibits multiple tyrosine kinases including BCR-ABL, SRC family kinases (SRC, LCK, YES, FYN), c-KIT, EPHA2, and PDGFRβ. It binds to multiple conformations of the ABL kinase, blocking signals that drive abnormal white blood cell proliferation characteristic of CML and Ph+ ALL.
May cause bone marrow suppression, fluid retention, cardiac events, and pulmonary arterial hypertension. Use with caution in patients with cardiac dysfunction or history of QT prolongation. Drug interactions may occur with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers.
