Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, either as monotherapy or as adjunctive therapy with other intraocular pressure-lowering medications.

Dorzolamide inhibits carbonic anhydrase isoenzymes in the ciliary body of the eye, which decreases the production of aqueous humor and consequently reduces intraocular pressure.

For topical ophthalmic use only. May cause bitter taste, eye discomfort, or blurred vision after instillation. Use with caution in patients with sulfonamide allergies. Not recommended for use in patients with severe renal impairment. Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.
