Elranatamab
Elranatamab is a bispecific antibody used to treat multiple myeloma in patients who have received prior therapies. It works by binding to both cancer cells expressing B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and T-cells, bringing them together so the immune system can destroy the malignant cells.
A targeted immunotherapy for multiple myeloma that activates T-cells to recognize and kill BCMA-expressing cancer cells.
This medication carries a boxed (black box) warning — the strongest type of FDA warning. Review the full prescribing information before use.

Route of administration
Method of drug delivery
Treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma in adults who have received prior therapies including a proteasome inhibitor, immunomodulatory agent, and anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody.
Elranatamab is a bispecific BCMA-directed CD3 T-cell engager antibody that binds BCMA on multiple myeloma cells and CD3 on T-cells, forming a bridge that activates T-cells to attack and destroy the cancer cells.
Administered subcutaneously with a step-up dosing schedule. Requires monitoring for cytokine release syndrome and neurotoxicity. Patients should be counseled on signs of these serious adverse reactions and seek immediate medical attention if they occur.
