Entrectinib
Entrectinib is a targeted cancer therapy that inhibits specific tyrosine kinase receptors involved in tumor growth. It is used to treat adults and children with solid tumors that have NTRK gene fusions or ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer.

Treatment of adults and children 12 years and older with solid tumors that have a neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase (NTRK) gene fusion, and adults with ROS1-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is used when the cancer has spread or cannot be removed with surgery.
Entrectinib blocks the activity of tropomyosin receptor tyrosine kinases (TRKA, TRKB, TRKC), ROS1, and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK). By inhibiting these receptors, it prevents the signaling pathways that drive cancer cell growth and survival.
Entrectinib may cause serious side effects including heart failure, nervous system problems, bone fractures, liver toxicity, and vision changes. It should be taken with food and swallowed whole. Patients should avoid driving or operating machinery if they experience dizziness or vision problems. Regular monitoring of heart function and liver tests is required during treatment.
