Used to maintain normal vaginal pH levels and as part of the management of bacterial vaginosis. May also be used for general vaginal health maintenance and prevention of pH-related imbalances.
Contains lactic acid and buffering agents that work by lowering and stabilizing vaginal pH to the normal acidic range (approximately 3.8-4.5), creating an unfavorable environment for pathogenic bacteria while supporting healthy vaginal flora.
Available as vaginal gel or capsules. Generally well-tolerated with minimal systemic absorption. Not a treatment for sexually transmitted infections or yeast infections. Consult a healthcare provider for proper diagnosis before use, especially if symptoms persist or worsen. Pregnant individuals should consult their provider before use.
