Treatment of primary immunodeficiency diseases, including but not limited to X-linked agammaglobulinemia, common variable immunodeficiency, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, and severe combined immunodeficiency. Some formulations may also be used for chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP).

Administered subcutaneously (under the skin), often at home after proper training. Common side effects include local reactions at injection site, headache, and fatigue. Made from human plasma with theoretical risk of infectious disease transmission. Requires appropriate storage (typically 2-8°C or room temperature depending on formulation) and should not be administered intravenously unless specifically formulated for IV use.
