Treatment of chronic, infected or colonized wounds including venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and other wounds where antimicrobial protection is needed. Typically used when wounds show signs of infection or are at risk of infection.

Iodoflex contains iodine complexed with a cadexomer polymer matrix. When applied to a wound, the cadexomer absorbs exudate and slowly releases iodine, providing a sustained antimicrobial effect against bacteria and fungi. The iodine action helps reduce bacterial load in the wound environment.

For topical use only on external wounds. Avoid use in patients with thyroid disorders, iodine sensitivity, or known hypersensitivity to any ingredients. Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice. Should not be applied to dry wounds or used on large body surface areas due to risk of systemic iodine absorption. Discontinue use if signs of hypersensitivity or thyroid dysfunction occur.
