Used to treat dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca) and provide ocular lubrication for patients experiencing eye dryness, irritation, burning, or foreign body sensation due to insufficient tear production.

The small rod-shaped insert is placed in the lower eyelid sac where it gradually dissolves over several hours, releasing hydroxypropyl cellulose—a water-absorbing polymer that forms a lubricating film on the ocular surface, mimicking natural tears.

Typically inserted once or twice daily as directed. May cause temporary blurred vision immediately after insertion. Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 30 minutes before reinserting. The insert dissolves completely and does not require removal. Consult your eye care provider if eye pain, vision changes, or redness occur.
