Mederma Advanced Scar is used to reduce the appearance of scars from surgery, C-sections, traumatic injuries, burns, cuts, and acne. It can be used on both old and new scars, though it is generally most effective on newer scars.

Mederma works by hydrating the skin and helping to normalize collagen synthesis in the scar tissue. The active ingredients, including allantoin and cepae (onion) extract, help improve scar elasticity and reduce discoloration over time.

For best results, Mederma should be applied once daily for 8 weeks on new scars or 3-6 months on existing scars. It is for external use only and should not be applied to open wounds. Consult a healthcare provider before use on children or if you have sensitive skin.
