Emergency treatment of anaphylaxis in adults and children weighing at least 30 kg (approximately 66 lbs) who are experiencing severe allergic reactions to foods, insect stings, medications, or other allergens.
Delivers epinephrine through the nasal mucosa, providing rapid absorption into the bloodstream. Epinephrine works by constricting blood vessels, reducing swelling, opening airways, and helping reverse other symptoms of severe allergic reactions.
Neffy should be used immediately at the first sign of anaphylaxis. Emergency medical care should still be sought after administration, as the medication may wear off and symptoms can return. Patients should carry two doses available at all times. The spray is for nasal use only and should not be used if solution appears discolored.
