Nitroglycerin Patch
Nitro-Dur is a transdermal patch containing nitroglycerin, a nitrate vasodilator, used to prevent angina (chest pain). The medication works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which improves blood flow to the heart and reduces its workload. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, and flushing. Not for use in patients taking PDE5 inhibitors (e.g., sildenafil).
