Omidenepag
Omidenepag is an ophthalmic medication classified as a selective EP2 receptor agonist used to lower intraocular pressure (IOP). It is indicated for the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension, conditions where elevated IOP is a major risk factor for progressive vision loss. By reducing IOP, this medication helps protect the optic nerve from glaucomatous damage.
Omidenepag is an eye drop medication that lowers intraocular pressure to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Primary open-angle glaucoma, ocular hypertension, and other conditions associated with elevated intraocular pressure where reducing IOP is clinically indicated.
Omidenepag acts as a relatively selective EP2 receptor agonist. By stimulating EP2 receptors in the eye, it decreases aqueous humor production and/or increases uveoscleral outflow, thereby reducing intraocular pressure. The complete mechanism of action remains incompletely understood.
For ophthalmic use only as eye drops. Monitor intraocular pressure regularly during treatment. May cause ocular hyperemia (redness), eyelash changes, and iris pigmentation alterations. Contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative. Inform patients about proper eye drop administration technique and to avoid contamination of dropper tip.
