Treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency associated with cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic surgery, pancreatic cancer, and other conditions where the pancreas cannot produce adequate digestive enzymes.

Contains pancrelipase derived from porcine pancreas, providing lipase (for fat digestion), protease (for protein digestion), and amylase (for carbohydrate digestion) to compensate for deficient natural enzyme production and support normal nutrient absorption.

Must be taken with meals and/or snacks as directed; capsules or contents should not be crushed or chewed (micro-spheres can be mixed with soft food). Dosage is individualized based on weight, diet, and symptom severity. May cause GI side effects such as nausea, abdominal pain, or constipation. Patients should maintain adequate fluid intake. Effectiveness depends on proper timing with food intake.
