Treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, cornea, and anterior segment of the globe, including allergic conjunctivitis, superficial punctate keratitis, herpes zoster keratitis, iritis, cyclitis, and select cases of chronic blepharitis.

As a corticosteroid, prednisolone acetate works by inhibiting the inflammatory response through multiple mechanisms, including suppression of inflammatory cell migration, reduction of capillary permeability, and decreased release of inflammatory mediators. This helps alleviate redness, swelling, and discomfort associated with eye inflammation.

For ophthalmic use only. Contraindicated in most viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva, mycobacterial eye disease, and fungal diseases. Prolonged use may increase intraocular pressure and risk of cataract formation. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment of active ocular inflammation. Shake well before use.
