Pred Mild is used to treat inflammatory conditions of the eye including uveitis, keratitis, and other corticosteroid-responsive disorders. It may also be prescribed following eye surgery to reduce post-operative inflammation.
As a corticosteroid, Pred Mild works by inhibiting the inflammatory response and reducing the activity of inflammatory cells and mediators in the eye tissues. This helps decrease redness, swelling, and discomfort associated with inflammatory eye conditions.
Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination. Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting. Long-term use may increase intraocular pressure and risk of cataracts. Do not use if you have active viral, bacterial, or fungal eye infections unless directed by a physician.
