Rebinyn is indicated for on-demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes, routine prophylaxis to prevent or reduce the frequency of bleeding, and perioperative management of bleeding in adults and children with hemophilia B.

Rebinyn is a recombinant coagulation factor IX that has been glycoPEGylated to extend its half-life. It replaces the deficient factor IX in hemophilia B patients, facilitating the formation of functional clot to restore normal hemostasis.

Rebinyn is administered intravenously. Patients should be monitored for the development of factor IX inhibitors (antibodies), which can reduce effectiveness. Use only under the supervision of a physician experienced in managing hemophilia. Known hypersensitivity to hamster proteins or other product components is a contraindication.
