Reguloid is primarily used to treat constipation and irregular bowel movements. It may also be recommended as part of a heart-healthy diet to help lower cholesterol levels.

As a bulk-forming laxative, Reguloid works by absorbing water in the intestines to create a soft, bulky stool. This stimulates the natural contraction of intestinal muscles, helping to move stool through the digestive tract more easily.

Take with plenty of water (at least 8 ounces per dose) to prevent choking or intestinal blockage. May interact with other medications if taken at the same time—wait 1-2 hours between doses. Not recommended for those with intestinal blockage or difficulty swallowing.
