Riabni is indicated for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory low-grade or follicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, rheumatoid arthritis (in combination with methotrexate), and other conditions as determined by a healthcare provider.
Riabni is a CD20-directed cytolytic antibody. It binds to the CD20 antigen on B-lymphocytes, triggering immune-mediated destruction of these cells through complement-dependent cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity, effectively reducing the number of abnormal B-cells in the body.
Riabni carries risks of serious infections, hepatitis B reactivation, and infusion reactions. Patients should be monitored during and after infusion. Live vaccines should be avoided during treatment. This medication may increase the risk of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML). Treatment should only be administered under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
