Roflumilast
Roflumilast is an anti-inflammatory medication used primarily to treat severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with chronic bronchitis and plaque psoriasis. It works by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) enzyme, which reduces inflammation in the lungs and skin. This medication is typically prescribed as a maintenance treatment for patients who have not responded adequately to other therapies.
Roflumilast is a PDE4 inhibitor used to reduce inflammation in severe COPD and psoriasis by preventing the breakdown of cyclic AMP in cells.
