Rybrevant is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations, as detected by an FDA-approved test, who have progressed on or after platinum-based chemotherapy.
Rybrevant is a bispecific antibody that binds to both EGFR and MET receptors on cancer cells. By targeting these proteins, it can block signals that promote cancer cell growth and survival, and may also help the immune system recognize and attack cancer cells.
Rybrevant is administered by intravenous infusion. Common side effects include rash, infusion-related reactions, nail problems, and swelling. Patients should be monitored for serious reactions during infusion. This medication should only be used under the supervision of a healthcare provider experienced in cancer treatment.
