Scytera is indicated for the treatment of tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea pedis (athlete's foot) caused by dermatophytes.

The active ingredient ketoconazole inhibits the fungal enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, which is essential for synthesizing ergosterol—a critical component of the fungal cell membrane—effectively disrupting fungal growth.

For external use only; avoid contact with eyes, nose, and mouth. Apply as directed by your healthcare provider, typically twice daily for 2-4 weeks. Discontinue use and contact a doctor if severe irritation or allergic reactions occur.
