Sebulex is used to treat seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff and seborrheic scalp eczema), psoriasis of the scalp, and seborrhea. It helps reduce associated symptoms such as scaling, flaking, itching, and redness on the scalp.

Sebulex contains salicylic acid and sulfur. Salicylic acid acts as a keratolytic agent, softening and helping to remove dead skin cells from the scalp surface. Sulfur has mild antimicrobial and keratolytic properties that complement the shedding of dead skin and may help reduce microbial overgrowth associated with these conditions.

For external use only on the scalp. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken skin. Use as directed, typically by applying to wet hair, lathering, and leaving on for several minutes before rinsing. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider if irritation, excessive dryness, or worsening of symptoms occurs. Keep out of reach of children.
