Synovex is used in beef cattle for growth promotion in steers and heifers, as well as estrus synchronization in cows and heifers to facilitate controlled breeding programs.

Synovex contains steroid hormones (progesterone and estradiol) that, when implanted, slowly release into the animal's system. These hormones regulate metabolism and reproductive cycles, promoting muscle growth and feed efficiency in growing cattle, or coordinating estrus cycles in breeding animals.

Synovex is a veterinary-only product intended exclusively for use in beef cattle. It is not approved for use in dairy cows or in animals that may produce milk for human consumption. Withdrawal times must be observed before slaughter. As a prescription veterinary product, it should only be administered by or under the direction of a licensed veterinarian.
