Tafasitamab
Tafasitamab-cxix is an Fc-modified monoclonal antibody that targets CD19, a protein found on the surface of B cells and certain B-cell cancers. It is used to treat adults with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and follicular lymphoma (FL). The drug works by binding to CD19 on cancer cells, marking them for destruction by the immune system.

Tafasitamab is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) who are not eligible for autologous stem cell transplant, and for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma.
Tafasitamab is an Fc-modified monoclonal antibody that binds specifically to the CD19 antigen on the surface of pre-B cells, mature B lymphocytes, and malignant B cells. This binding activates the immune system to destroy the cancer cells through antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and other immune mechanisms.
Tafasitamab is administered via intravenous infusion. Common side effects may include infusion-related reactions, fatigue, and infections. Blood counts should be monitored during treatment. It may cause fetal harm and should not be used during pregnancy.
