Treatment of acute migraine attacks, mild to moderate pain, fever, and inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Acts as a non-selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins that mediate pain, inflammation, and fever.
Like other NSAIDs, it may cause gastrointestinal irritation, ulcers, or bleeding. Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcers, severe kidney or liver impairment, and should be avoided in late pregnancy. Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease or history of gastrointestinal problems.
