Prevents heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) in dogs and cats, and treats and controls infections caused by adult roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina) and hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala).

Ivermectin works by disrupting the nervous system of parasitic larvae, preventing heartworm larvae from developing into adults. Pyrantel pamoate acts as a neuromuscular blocking agent against intestinal parasites, causing paralysis and elimination of worms.

A veterinarian prescription is required. Prior to starting, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infection. Some dog breeds (particularly Collies and related) may be more sensitive to ivermectin. Administer with food to ensure proper absorption. Do not use in puppies under 6 weeks of age. Common side effects are rare but may include lethargy, vomiting, or diarrhea.
